Below you can watch the documentary called “Cambodia’s Orphan Tourism” showed on Al Jazeera in February 2011. On this edition of 101 East, they ask if volunteer tourism does more harm than good for the people of Cambodia.
Although some interesting different perspectives on the topic, be aware that they mix the terms “volunteering”, “volunteer tourism” and “orphanage tourism” quite frequently without any clarification.
