Alumni Honour board:
The 2010 ICMS Distinguished Alumni Award went to Hospitality Management and Masters graduate Kristin Hansen for being a model alumnus. She has succeeded in developing Soria Moria, a thriving boutique hotel in Cambodia, using responsible methods of tourism along with the business skills she learnt here at College. Her business contributes to the developing nature of Siem Riep where her hotel is located, and she is providing skills, employment and profitable opportunities to the locals in her community. Kristin donated the prize money of $1000 to the Jayavaraman VII Children’s hospital in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The hospital operates purely through donations. To read the full article click here.
